Found this in a log from our back yard. Not sure what kind of wood it is, maybe Maple. You should have seen the shavings fly! I was covered and so was every tool in my shop! Well worth it though…adding to my tool collection.

How are you going to fill that shed if logs keep becoming chips on the lathe?
