I built this red oak coffee table to go into my new place. The design is my own and is a compilation of my favourite parts and designs of others ive seen. I believe this table was doweled together.

NO!!!!!! Don’t throw it in the fireplace…...

So no M&T’s, instead dowels at the ends of the uprights, and aprons?

Thanks Steven , correct. The only M&Ts are the decorative slats on the sides and possibly for the drawer rail in the front , i dont recall. I do love m&t but dowels feel so strong with titebond and it allows me to drill and join everthing on a table like this in a few hours. Ill be posting a matching end table tomorrow that i did use traditional joinery for. Thanks for the compliments. – Dean
