Thirty years ago my Uncle introduced me to woodworking. He made whirligigs and porch swings. He served in the Navy in WWII. He passed away last summer and I had the honor to make a case for his flag. He will be missed very much

Very nice. I’m actually making one now for my wife’s uncle. I’m having trouble getting the angles right on the bottom corners. My measurements are showing 67.5 degrees but i’m getting a small gap on the inside. What angles did you use?

Sorry to hear of your family’s loss. Nice work / dedication to your uncle. Saluting all members of our military – past and present.

I saw Tommy Mac make one of these on Rough Cut. I’m wondering if you saw that episode? I love that show.
