When I orginally bid this project it began as a small simple bar, a little platform for the chairs and a small component cabinet, 4 months and 23,000 change orders later we have a product to truly be proud of. All of the woodwork was designed and constructed onsite out of my trailer workshop. Everything is Red Oak with a 2 part stain/ antique process. and Paduck inlay and edging. The “room” is a detached 1200 sq ft guest house which we converted to a theater/ entertainment room.

When I see these fantastic projects my fellow LJ’s do for other people I wonder how it must feel to have the cash to hire someone to build a room like that in your home. I try and make my house nice, and it is always a work in progress, but Iv’e seen some beautiful work on this site that I’d not mind in my home.
But then again, I couldn’t imagine carrying the debt those people have! I’m happy to kick back in my nearly paid for house and drink my paid for beer from my paid for mug in my paid for easy chair in my paid for living room.

Great looking job Brandon. You gotta love it when they want to keep throwing money at you.

I have to say that is an impressive Entertainment room. Very well done. Change orders always make it interesting and challenging.
