I don’t know if this is the place to post this, but I got some spalted maple cutoffs today from cutting slabs that I would be glad to give to anyone who wants them for woodturning, for FREE. The two larger pieces have the bark on the other side. Somebody should be able to make some nice bowls or turnings out of these pieces. I should even have some more when I’m done cutting the log.

Too bad freight would be a killer to Arizona. I would love some.
Thanks for the offer.

I think taking my Honda Goldwing from Winnipeg to Ohio in this weather would be a mistake, but thanks for the offer.

If any of it would fit into a medium or large flat rate box, I would be interested.

If no one is close enough to pick up, would you consider shipping if we paid you extra for all your trouble?
Thank you for showing that beautiful wood. If you were a bit closer,my pickup would be backing up to
your shop to dicker on your sycamore slabs and the Maple. Thanks for sharing, and what are the measurements
on the maple?
