It’s not completed yet, I hope that isn’t against posting rules. Cutting these corner posts was a nice challenge even with the Incra system. The wood is Honey Locust (from Roger Bonesteel) with Brazilian Cherry inlay in the double dovetail. The lid will be Honey Locust with BC accent. I just finished a router table cabinet for a gentleman and hope to finally get this box completed along with some others I started around the same time.

In the last two pictures I wet the wood with some mineral spirits to get an idea how the finish will brink out the grain. I love how prominent the growth rings are in the corner posts, I think it gives a very unique look.

great – the double dovetail is such a unique feature. I’ve made several and you’re right, they are a challenge but well worth it. can’t wait to see the completed box

Good day. And you can learn more about how this is done ???? If not difficult, tell in the letter.
