Microwave Cart Microwave Cart No-picture-s Click the pictures to enlarge them

This is the microwave cart that I built for my inlaws. They had an old pressboard one that had a phonebook under one corner to hold it up. The body of the cart is birch plywood trimmed with maple. The doors, drawer front and top is red oak stained with a walnut color. Add some satin nickle plated hardware and done :-)

I only wish that their microwave went crash! I build them a nice new cart and they still have a microwave that is 10-12 years old. I didn’t get them one for Christmas because I didn’t want the fridge to get jealous :-)

and that old microwave must weigh a ton… it was only a matter of time before the old one said uncle.

Nice job.

I really like the cart. I might swipe some of your design. I, too, have the old melamine pressboard cart. (No phone book yet, however.)

Nice craftsmanship and cabinetry. Beautiful, simple (in a good way) design.
