It finally here!! I have been casually designing this chair since last year and seriously for last 4 months but all the peices finally came together!! This is really a combination of all my favorite elements from my favorite chair makers. The two biggest infuences are Benji Reyes, and of corse Sam Maloof. The front legs, seat bed and back cap are made of honey locust and the bent back is of mahogany. The legs and seat aree fully sculpted. Its finished with tonge oil.

That is thinking way out the box.
What an incredible design.
It must feel good to see the dream finally in the wood.
A design like this must have been in your head for a bit. :)

Thanks for sharing

Outstanding workmanship and design! I’ve seen a lot of chairs for sale in the “High End category” that are an attempt to come up with something different and fail miserably because there is not an ounce of grace or harmony in the design. You have successfully accomplished it. If I get to poke a little fun at you; it would only be for applying “tonge oil” ~ at least you didn’t try to procure any “Tongue oil. Yes; Tung Oil is my favorite
