With lacquer the trivet is really finished and we can better seen the inlay

I’ve done two another one this afternoon

I like working with inlay and my miter spline jig : a personnal touch !!!!!

I have made a bunch of these as well. People all over my neighborhood bring me corks to make them. The fun and they seem to really like thme. Nice work.

The spline addes a lot to the trivet. I have been saving my corks for a year now with the intent of making trivets. What kind of glue did you use for the corks?
