I stumbled on this desk in a recent Woodsmith magazine. I showed it to my daughter and she said she wanted a standup desk for her office. I had to deliver then

This is made from repurposed hardwood flooring. It was odds and ends from various jobs a local hardwood flooring installer had left over from various jobs. There was a lot of glueup involved. The desk tops are out of red birch and the legs etc. are from hard maple. Several coats of polyurethane to finish it.

Vol 39 No. 232. It also has a tool cabinet I’m thinking of making.

Most of my projects are for my daughters or my wife. Those are the best kind. Looks like you made a top notch desk for her. Watch out, there will be more requests, which isn’t a bad thing.
