The base and knob are made of padauk and finished with two coats of laquer. The highlight ring on the top perimeter of the base is embedded wood filler. Sorry, this is the only picture I have of it. But there isn’t much more to show. The knob is turned on my lathe and the brass is all machined in my shop. It has neodymium magnets instead of a spring for tension.
