While watching some videos from Makesomething on youtube I saw him make a arm rest cup holder and thought it would make an awesome mouse pad. Here is a few build pics to give you a idea. I tool a razor blade and gouged out the bottoms to give the glue a little more to hold on to. Wood is mahogany and finish is Danish oil.

Ain’t that something. Wondering if it will universally fit any shape of chair/couch?

I had never hear of Make Something channel some pretty neat stuff looks like.

Nice job, is it staying where you want it?

Thanks for posting.

It’s been working great. Had no issues with it shifting at all. If I went with a lighter wood it may not stay as well. Dont see why it would not stay almost anywhere.

Thanks

I wondered after I saw his video. Seemed like that can of pop was swimming in that huge hole, waiting for an excuse to fall over. I think your application of using it flat for a mouse makes more sense.

I thought I was the only dinosaur still using a mouse. Just can’t get use to using my fingertip.

Nice! What is the backing material? Can we please get some dimensions?

I dont remember off hand the dimensions and I’m at work right now. I used a piece of this leather for the backing though

Have your say...
