I gave away all of my beer totes as presents so decided to make one for myself.

Cherry burl ends, paduak sides, purple heart handle, eucalyptus bottom, and poplar/maple/eucalyptus dividers. Tung oil and wax finish.

Big powerful magnet to catch the caps and an ox head opener.

Hand cut dovetails for the sides and hand cut mortise and tenon (with a drill for waste) on the handle.

Very nice choice of woods. I like the joinery too. I use the same overlaping joint at side boards.

The ones I batch out just go into a dado, but for my own I made it with a dovetail on the sides. Adds a bit of a nice accent.
