Dressing/Make-Up Vanity #2

My wife requested I make dressing vanity/make-up tables for our sons’ girlfriends. She gave me the rough dimensions and design ideas and I took it from there.

Same dimensions and materials as one I posted here, Dressing/Make-Up Vanity #1. Main carcass dimensions are 18” deep x 48” wide x 13 1/2” tall. The two lift top boxes are 12” x 12” x 3 3/4” tall. Mirror came from local big ‘blue’ store and I simply traced a backer board.

Surprisingly, the gray paint was simply some spray primer she pulled off my shelf and said, “Try this.” I top coated it with satin lacquer. Like the other vanity, I was very skeptical of the color, but the white hardware really finished it off nicely.

No doubt the paint came from a naval surplus store !! (another funny!)

I think I will nick name it the Missouri Vanity #2

LOL Rick S… I can see how one could think that. That statement is from my ‘life verse’, Philippians 3:13-14

That’s funny Rob, this old body does ‘crack and pop’ alot when training for a marathon or Ironman. But that’s not where it came from. My father-in-law has called me ‘Chief Crack N Pop’ for over 25 years… I’m a chiropractor. :^)
