Here is a Cross that I just completed.

It took me just a tad over 2 Hours to complete.

It was cut from Cherry Plywood.

I used a FD#1 to Cut this.

Hope Y’all like it. All comments welcome good or bad. Go ahead and hit me with your best shot lol.

Oh and yeah, as late as it was I didn’t bother sanding it at the moment, so it’s finished but it’s not lol

Thanks everyone for your Great Comments. I guess I could’ve Spelled Cross right in the title LOL.

Jim, Sorry to say, No, this isn’t my Design, I’m trying to explore a little of the Designing Techniques, but I’m not being Very Successful at it, so I generaly Find a few Free Designs and if I got the Extra Cash which is hardly ever lol, I purchase them. I also get some from the Magazines I buy from time to time for the Holidays.

Cozmo, I added you as a Buddy, I’m searching out Scrollers lol. I’ve only Seen a few so far here on LJ’s.

This is really nice. You did a great job. Very intricate. How was this wood to scroll?

@Sheila. Yeah I know, I see everything here lol, Not quite as much Scrollers, but they are here, every kind of woodworker and it’s great hearing Feedback from everyone and even seeing their own projects.

@jock. Yeah it is, I had someone on my Facebook ask how much for the cross, so Maybe it will be a Small Hit on my Store, who knows.

@Allison. Well as with almost any Plywood, you have to be extra careful because you can get some small Chipout. When I use Plywood, I don’t generaly use Packing tape because when you try to pull off the tape you tend to pull off the veneer as well. So I try to use a little extra Spray Glue on my Pattern to make sure that it sticks a little better then normal, then it comes off pretty easy, if it don’t, then I sand off what wouldn’t come off when I pulled it. I’ve cut walnut once to make a 3D ornament and it was fairly difficult, i think cause it was almost 1” thick. I got some extra Stock around that I’ve not dove into cause i wanted to find the right projects for and it’s hardwood, so I may give it a Try and see how different it is to cut.

I went to my Sons 10th Birthday party at McDonalds this sunday, and I left one of our 5 Dogs in the living room while we went, 2 in the Kenel, 2 in the bedroom and 1 in the living room.

When i got back, The one in the living room Knocked over my Game Table which is my Living room table, along with my Craftsmen Scrollsaw and everything on it. Needlesstosay, this Cross was on the table and it’s Shattered all to pieces like a Pain of Glass.

So I’ve got to Redo this Cross, what kind of Luck do I have? LOL
