This project is a milestone – my first “for sale” woodworking items. I put these in my Etsy shop (Sheepshape Spinning) last night. We’ll see if anyone is interested!

The maple one is made from offcuts from a maple bench project that I’m working on in an evening class. The walnut one has little grooves by the grip, which I quite enjoy making.

I think I need to try and retake the pics of the walnut one though. They looked fine at home but here they’re looking a little too dark at the top end.

It’s fun! Takes a surprising amount of accessories but it’s nice to be able to knock off a project in a short period of time. I prep the blanks beforehand so I can just grab some and go when the mood strikes.

Nice looking pens!

I really like the enlarged end on the walnut one. Looks like it will be really comfortable to use.

Very nice. I like what you did with the pencil. You really have a lot of options in pens/pencils. Turn scraps into treasures, and gifts. :)
