My better half made these too. I gave a hand in making the seedy center, but the rest is all her work…

Flower is made of satinwood (yellow heart), poplar, walnut, and I think the pot is blood wood, mahogany, and wenge. We found the pattern in a book called, “Intarsia Woodworking for Beginners: Skill-Building Lessons for Creating Beautiful Wood Mosaics” by Kathy Wise (Tree Frog on the cover).
