I first saw the wine bottle balancers here on LJ and said that can’t work. So I decided I would try it out. I found some plans and got to work (The angle is 45 degrees) and after I got it cut out I garbed I big wrench and tested it. I was so amazed! I burnt the pitcher of the Bass on with a wood burner. I really enjoyed this on plus it filled up some of my time at school. Finished with 3 coats of minwax polyurethane semi gloss. The wood is a piece of old pine barn board. Thanks for looken!

I made one, too, and was equally impressed that it worked !

They’re also so simple to make … that they make great gifts ….

Nice, going to have to rummage in the scrap pile and make a few.
