I got a new Shop Fox 1752 mini lathe last monday. My first projects have been playing around learning to turn pens. This is the most fun i’ve had in months playing with wood. These are just a few slimline pens that came in a kit from PSI. The 2 together are rosewood, the one by its self is walnut. I know the pens are suppose to be skinny, but I like them a little fatter and heavier.

They look great. That’s one of the best parts of pen turning…They’re not a little “Fat”...They’re unique, one of a kind, custom turnings of the artist’s preference…
