This project was a bit of a challenge. I had to go ‘old school’ on it with chisels and a tenon saw, shortening one side to assure alignment. All that remains is to frame it Thinking of using some Curly Ash I have laying around.

Woods: Walnut, Aspen and Birch.

Backer: Lauan plywood.

Finish: Tung Oil.

THis one look great… though after staring at it for 30 seconds, I have a headache from trying to follow it. Excellent realism.
