Testing Stains on White Oak wood

A few weeks ago, I done some tests with different stains on White Oak wood, that I had on hand. I wanted to see if some other stains would look better or worse.

I hope the above video will help somebody on chosen the right stain, I have bought several stains over the years, going either by the picture on the can, or there stain pieces in the stores. And of course be dis-pointed in the outcome. So I hope this helps. Thanks for looking

That is a good selections of stains. you might want to look at Zar stains too. they are my favorite ones although I do use many of the ones you showed. I like Zar 120 Teak on oak especially.
