My dad was moving into a new office and wanted a corner shelf to go above his desk. I got a hold of some curly yellow birch with a cool grain to it so I thought I’d use that. Unfortunately I only had my phone camera when I was in there so the pictures aren’t the greatest. This project was a first for me in many ways. The boards were pretty rough cut and twisted when I got them. I had never gone through the process of ripping, jointing, planing before, and I definitely learned a thing or two along the way. I just hope he likes it haha

Nice job, I like the way to got them to sit flat with the sandwich clamp. Great wood choice!
