Very nice! Did you just use a large dowel for the wheels? Like a closet hanger rod or something?

I see something similar on Internet, and then I make drawings on cardboard (by hand) and cut a template out.

Wheels are different story; I make a cylinder on the late, cut on the thickness and rout them (see http://lumberjocks.com/topics/21650)

Axle is 10mm thick dowel road from the shop (1 Inch= 25.4mm).

If you have problem whit my explanations, my drawings are better than my English.

I love making small cars like these – good work – I enjoyed looking at them.
