Adirondack Chairs & recently made foot rest. We spent a few days at Mackinac Island a few years ago. Loved the chairs at Mission Point Resort. Came across some plans, made some adjustments and started cutting. A big item in my shop. I have a small sawmill and cut my own cedar. Definately cuts down of the overhead. Plus it is a good feeling to take the tree from the woods to the shop.

Great work, I’m just about to start some Adirondak Chairs that fold, I’m using Blue oak though. I got the lumber from a local Lumberjock here in Southern California. (Socalwood) Rob.
Where is Ford River Mich, I grew up in Westland and lived in Whitmore Lake before moving back out to Los Angeles 15 yrs ago.
Hve a warm winter!

Having your own sawmill is a blast, a buddy had one and would swap his work for some of the tree. Good
looking chairs, but I have a little trouble getting out of that style now, funny, it was not that hard a couple
of days ago. Now all you need is a little table and you could set, put your feet up and enjoy the sunshine
at lunch time until the snow hits, it is slowly moving down the mountains into the valley here. Have a
wonderful winter.
