This is my first rustic log table I ever made…its about three years old and I had the greatest time building it. I liked it so much I built my parents one just like it. The legs are some black walnut trees I got from a friend who works as a contractor for the power company. He travels all over the area and cuts trees, limbs, etc.. away from the lines and when he gets good stuff he brings it back for me !!! The top is a 3 1/2” pine slab stained dark walnut and finished with about 8 coats of gloss poly. I hope to get my hands on a nice piece of walnut (1-1.5” thick) to replace the poplar board I am using as a shelf, that stuff is hard to get in upstate new york…thanks for looking folks!!

Nice job on this rustic table! I never stain my wood, but I like this stain on your table. Can’t wait to see what else you build!
