This was a special project, thinking about all the good times we had with our boxer Lola! Lola died from suddenly and unexpectedly from liver failure of unknown cause. We miss her greatly. Made urn from walnut, yellow heart, red heart. Her ashes and notes from our son enclosed on the outside. Brass plaque and plexiglass to secure picture of her. Her dog tag mounted on the bottom of the urn. Thanks for looking!

Sorry for the photos positioning.

Lovely work – a nice tribute, especially the photo and tag. Sorry to hear of your loss.

I love this, especially the plexiglass for the photo. And nice choice of woods. You could also make a shadow box containing her collar, tags, maybe her favorite toy and photos. I do that for each dog we’ve had pass away. Special things for our 4-legged children. Very nice work!!!

So sorry for your loss. We have several boxes sitting on a shelf in our house. You did a great job on it.

Beautiful job on the urn. Very sorry to hear of the loss. We have three “children” of our own and I can fully understand your pain.

Sorry for your loss, far too soon but it always is with our furry families. It’s a lovely piece and all the more special for the tears I’m certain fell on it while making it. We will see them again, believe it.

Have your say...
