This is my first lathe project. I bought a Jet 1014 lathe a few weeks ago and finally had a chance to give it a spin! I figured I would start simple and try my hand at a few bottle stoppers to get used to turning. I”m not sure what the wood is, as it came in a sample pack of blanks that were on special when I bought some turning tools.
