Staircase and Wainscot

This staircase was built mostly out of salvaged lumber from my shop. The stringers are mahogany covered fir plywood, the treads are fir plywood with a maple nose and cork inlay, the rails are maple, newel posts and balusters made from air dried birch, the wainscot from MDF. This was all primed and finished with a number of coats of high gloss enamel. Thanks for looking.

Awesome use of scraps. I like the natural light you have there, makes it looks like you are ascending to the light ahead of you. Almost Biblical.
