I’ve made a few of these, but this one turned out the nicest. Finally got a scroll saw which enabled some cleaner work on the cut outs in the top. Sides and back are walnut resawn and sanded down to 0.060” thick using the thickness sander made for the Total Shop which can be seen in one of my earlier projects. The top is Sitka Spruce which is sanded down to 0.10”. The back is already a bit scratched up because it is getting a fair amount of use in our singing duo. Here is a sample from a performance a few months ago.

Sure is nice looking. Your performance was beautiful and the instrument sounded great also. Nice song, I bet most here will enjoy it too.
