This band saw box was made out of a cedar 4×4 Chunk of wood. I made it in the Wahoo high school shop. I cut out the general shape of the box including the legs and round design. After that I cut off the back. Then i cut out the shape of the drawer. After this I glued the the main body back together. Next i cut off the back and front of the drawer. Then i cut out what was to be the inside of the drawer and fashioned a handle from the left over. I glued it all together and had a drawer and a main body. i sanded everything i could and it was ready for the finish. I used a water based red oak stain and a glossy water based poly. for a clear coat. This will make a good Christmas present for my mom.

P.S. If your planning on pointing out any faults don’t. I had a cast on my arm.

I think you did a great job, even with one arm tied behind your back! ;)

Well done, one can only imagine what you could do with two arms?
