Made this a while ago, first project in the new shop. The lumber cart is a hybrid design of many other carts I found online and incorporated storage for cutoffs, plywood sheets, dimensional lumber, blankes and tools. It is on casters so it can be moved and rolls well despite the weight. Thanks for looking!

Those wheels are a little light duty for that cart.
I suspect you will need heavier duty than those.

i was going to say the same thing,it may roll well now but when you fill that thing up and trust me you will that will be a lot of weight for those little wheels.id upgrade now before you get to that point.great shop cart though.

@woodchuckerNJ & @pottz, thanks for the suggestion. Admittedly, this is kind of an “old” build (nearly a year ago). So that cart is well utilized. I didn’t need heavier wheels, but I did do 6 instead of 4. She currently has 5 sheets of plywood, 4 box’s of turning stock, dozens of cutoffs, about 30 clamps, and about 45 pieces of dimensional lumber not to mention 8 tool cases (with tools) and the pegboard is filled. So far, so good. Hopefully it holds strong!
