A local client here in Pittsburgh was looking for an executive office desk with a twist. So i took the concept sketches they sent over, and i added my own little twist. I incorporated an arch into the back of the desk to give note to Pittsburgh.
The video has lots of awesome tips and I also give some insights on how i price this piece!

you did a fantastic job on designing and building this desk,i especially like your pulls made with leather a real nice custom touch.great video of the build also and its nice you gave insite into pricing something like this,many arn’t sure what to ask for,i know i always under price my work.thanks for sharing this john.

Just saw this when combing through projects – didn’t realize you’re on LJ. I’ve been following some of your videos for some time now. Great work and content. I’m out of the Y-town area over in Ohio so not too far. Keep it up, John.
