So I’ve really only made one cutting board like this before. I forgot how much I enjoyed it. Not super complicated, but a great value for the recipient.

The woods used are walnut, cherry, hard maple, and birch.

The birch one was a surprise when I finished it. I was focused on alternating the end grain to avoid warping, but the wavy grain created this kind of chevron pattern on the top. Turned out pretty cool.

Nice looking cutting boards!

I just finished my second batch of them. They are fun and easy to make and people enjoy them. The made first ones about 4 1/2 years ago. And a couple people are still using them.
