A simple job of taking an entertainment center out of the “here’s where the big tube TV goes” era into a more functional lowboy with plenty of room on the top for the wide-screen TV that Santa might bring.

This was a solid cherry high end piece from restoration hardware and the joinery was virtually all pocket screws. Made my job easier and made me feel good my own addiction to pocket screws!

Very nice refit. Always great to save an item from the garbage man.

Nice. I’d bet you even have a bit of scrap cherry and a couple bits of hardware to throw in the “Hmmm what could I do with this pile..”

Actually, I am using some of the dividers for drawer bottoms right now!

That’s a nice conversion. And you got a lot of wood leftover, and two nice doors to use elsewhere. Good job!
