Ooops, forgot to post 7 and 8.

#7 was a small, delicate little star that has already broken once. It’s about 7 inches across.
Spalted maple, pistachio, Indian rosewood, and cherry.

#8 – I was honored to be asked to make a 9-pointed star for the recipient of last year’s Human Rights Award for Monterey County. They asked me again this year, so another one is in the works. This #8 was maple, birch, sapele, mahogany, cherry, and walnut. The piece in the center was pistachio, and I free-hand drew/burned the world map (don’t look too close!). The recipient was quite pleased.

Thanks for looking!
