Redwood slab that made a nice coffee and end table set. Really nice color variation from light to red to almost black. Finish is tung oil and urethane. I found the legs on etsy and they seem to go well with the tops.

Because of that color variant that table is awesome. I’m not now, nor will I ever likely be a fan of those metal legs, but that slice of wood is winner enough I can almost discount them. I would love to see that top on something Nakashima instead though.

Great work. I’m thinking of something similar for this piece of wood, but maybe with a waterfall end.

By the way, I see you are in South Jersey, as am I. I am in the Mullica Hill area.
