My oldest granddaughter loves foxes, so for her upcoming birthday, I thought I would do this simple mosaic. Did i say simple? This thing had angles I never knew existed. Probably better suited for a scroll saw rather than a table saw, but I don’t own one. All the pieces have a slight chamfer and the frame was my first attempt at inlay.

Woods: Mahogany, Quarter-sawn White Oak, Wenge and Aspen.

Backer: Walnut stained Maple plywood.

Frame: White Oak with Mahogany and Aspen inlay and Wenge corner splines.

Finish: Satin polyurethane.
