Here is another little carving project made from SPF. This little guy started life as piece of 2×2 SPF.
This was another adventure in carving pine, http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/Buckskin/blog/2746. His hat took on several revisions as it split, broke and all that fun stuff. I thought maybe it was me, but I keep my strop handy and hit it a few licks every few minutes.
Anyway, here is another little Christmas present.

Glad to see you kept your cool & finished the job buckslin. I have been doing the bathroom tiling, made a few wrong cuts, but not too many, the air did get a little blue a couple of times.

That is a good looking set of snow balls :) I really have to get back in the shop, thanks for showing the ruler :)
Do you have a macro setting on that camera? If so give it the next time you try a close up.

Sorry snowdog, no macro. I have an awesome macro lens for my 35mm rig. But I don’t want to spend the money on processing. I am using a HP photosmart 3.1 MP. I will have to dig in the book to figure out how to work the macro if there is one.
