This is my rendition of my command’s logo. It’s 4 foot across the top so fairly large. This is a combination of sapele, maple, cherry and birch plywood. I used my Carvewright for carving the wings and top lettering, everything else was cut with a scrollsaw.

Beautiful work.

My favorite weapon on wood for many decades has been a scrollsaw. I even have the first one I ever used. It is a very low powered unit; so is used very seldom for the last 45+ years.
