this was made of some pine boards i had gathered up from scraps at work. got the pattern from wood magazine. had alot of fun and was happy to be able to sit in it when it was finished. the second pic is the same rocker painted white with a stain brushed on then whiped off.

I love the design of this rocker and you did a fine job. The fact that you created this beauty from scraps makes it even better! I’m interested to know what issue of Wood Magazine this came from.

The rocker looks really nice. The issue is May 2008, #183 (quick check on WoodMagazine.com). I’ve looked at building this rocker a few times, but I can’t decide where it would go if I did. How are you going to finish it?

i gave it to my neighber she painted it white then covered it with stain and whiped it off giving it a older look. it turned out real good i thought. i will have to get a pic of it and add it on here.
