Highboy china cabinet

This is a mahogany china cabinet that I just finished.I needed a cabinet to match the dining room table I built but I couldn’t decide on a style.I finally decided to use the highboy plans from Glen Hueys project video and turn it into a china cabinet.I had to learn how to turn to do the drop finials.I now have to buy a lathe to make the second finial.

very nice,,looks great…I just got a lathe, Pen State is haveing a sale on mini’s and midi’s and starter packs to go with them.

A truly phenomenal piece. Great finish – I didn’t realize how much effort goes into one of these until watching Charles Neil’s videos – really impressive project you’ve got here. Congrats on the great job.

Our original plan was to put divided light doors on it but when my wife said she liked it without doors I didn’t argue with her :-)
