This is the second crib that I built using the details provided by Randy Sharp. When I found out I was having a second child I knew that I wanted to build a crib for him as I had for my daughter. The front and sides are identical to the first crib that I built. The back is different and was modelled after a crib that my wife and I both saw online and really liked. We wanted to make sure that there was something unique about each crib and I really like how this version of the back turned out. It is stained with general finishes espresso gel stain and sprayed with 1 coat of zinsser sealcoat and then 5 coats of target coatings em6000 lacquer.
