Using up the last of the old boathouse lumber given to me last month. We needed a coffee table/ottoman on the deck so this fit the bill.
It measures 34” wide x 41.25” long x 17” high. The armature is box store ripped 2×4 spruce lumber with deck screws and Pentox. The cladding is the reclaimed 1” thick lumber fastened with deck screws and sanded with a 60 grit orbital. Lastly, a coat of Thompson’s WaterSeal which will resist water but continue to weather gray.

Cheers,

-- Greg Simon

Interesting design. I had to look up pentox as a product. Looks like they have a few interesting products for outdoor wood.
