Carved lidded bowl

While in the mood for turning, carving, woodburning I spent some Australian winter days tinkering with
this whatever it can be called. Turned it for shape and then hollowed, used a fret saw to cut the top petals and carved the leavs below. Used cyprus pine. Now packed away with other useless projects I have made.

Very nice. Thanks for showing it. I know exactly what you mean about spending time working on something, then just packed away. My fun is doing it, not having it.

Maybe you should try selling the ones you dont want somewhere. I am sure someone would love it.

THanks for the comments. This was a trial run before doing the larger square one. Hi Theresa, we live in
an area where people have short arms and long pockets, have tried flea markets, gift shops etc for sales which have covered the cost of wood, but will never drive a Rolls Royce.

Thanks for comments. SPLASH sounds good to me, I had no idea what it would be when I started. Bet I have more boxes that you Allison, LOL.
