This is my first box. I was experimenting on boxes and this is how it ended up. I sanded it to 1500 grit sand paper then I buffed it. I was going to let this piece of wood go to waste a while ago. I am glad that I didn’t thow it away. This is Madrone Burl.
thanks for looking

I’ve never tried a spherical box. Very impressive.

You sanded it too much and rounded off all the corners. LOL

As boxes go … well, not too boxy if you know what I mean. As art though, very cool, definitely an outside the box box. Great work.

Way to go, Lucas. We don’t see many turned boxes. It is refreshing to see some one try something new. Keep it up. Rand
