My mother-in-law has a room in her new house she calls “The Library”. She has a murphy bed in there that is wall to wall bookshelves, and the 2 center units slide apart to reveal the bed(on the left in picture 2 & pic 6). She wanted a unit for the other wall that would match it, so this is my solution. The shelves are very simple, with just a roundover on the trim, in order to match what she had there. They are oak ply and poplar face frames, with red mohogany analine dye mixed w/ alcohol and sprayed on, with several coats of spray poly finish. I then installed them onto the wall. She is very happy with them! And yes she has read all those books! Thanks for looking.
