The cabinet is walnut for all exterior parts and Maple for all interior. The design has over 200 Mortise and Tenon joints and 35 drawers. Finish is pure tung oil. It took me several moths to build.

That cabinet is gorgeous. It looks like it came from a library from many years ago. That’s a lot of M&T and dovetail joinery!

Super job. I like how you kept the drawer fronts in order to maintain the grain pattern.

Exceptional work there, very orderly use of each board for a perfect looking grain flow, very nice.

A beautiful cabinet, bravo on your craftsmanship. But as somebody who worked in a library twenty years ago when these were being replaced by computers I have to ask. Is this for use in an actual library or will it be used for another purpose?
