This is one of my favorite projects. I “carved” this 27-inch bowl from a maple burl. Currently, it resides in my office and every time I look at it, I’m amazed at how beautiful the wood is.

That is a very fair price for an exceptional bowl.Jamie

Well when you make a great piece such as this and you really love it, you have to price it high enough to justify parting with it. So, in the instance of this bowl, whether you sell it or keep it you emerge a winner!

I THINK I’D ASK 500 BUCKS FOR THAT PIECE OF ART, AND THAT’S WHAT THAT IS, IS ART. IF THEY LAUGH AND WALK AWAY TOUGH. SOMEDAY A BUYER WILL RECOGNIZE IT FOR WHAT IT IS. PIECES LIKE THIS ARE VERY RARE.

Add a ZERO to the end of the price you have on it, it is definitely worth that! Then hang on to it till someone ponies up the dough. Do not underestimate the time and love you put into that thing. I would say if you are charging $325 you are getting like 2 bucks an hour or less? I know you put more time than you thought into this project. This is a very beautiful unique bowl.
