Project Information
A few weeks ago Dick Byrd (recycle 1943 on Lumberjocks) sent me a message because he had seen my river tables and wanted to make one but had never worked with resins. So through a series of messages then emails, Texts and phone calls I helped him with the methods, Tips and tricks and materials he needed for his project. Dick is a very talented woodworker so it it wasn't hard to explain. I was admiring the awesome bowls he makes and he sent me one in the mail so I thought I would send him something. I carved the letters on Poplar with my Rockler letter templates, Filled them with epoxy resin tinted with Sparkling Merlot mica pigment let it cure, Routed the edges, Sanded 220, Pasted a little bird on that I got from ACMoore and top coated with clear epoxy resin.
