Was looking for a burn project since I now had the equipment. Found a picture, copied it, traced it, transferred it to a piece of 1/4 plywood. After that it was a relaxing and enjoyable process although not very challenging. It’s basically just drawing and coloring over anothers picture/drawing. But I  was pleased with the results and surprised at how fast I could complete (less than a day to burn image). I enhanced the tree bark with a white colored pencil. Made frame with rough sawn walnut scraps. Sprayed clear matte finish.

That is a very nice burning. What are you using to burn with?

Thanks for posting, I’m sure it gave someone the encouragement to try it.

Thanks guys for the comments. re: SteveN I’m using the Colwood super pro. If I had to review it, I would give it 5 stars but I don’t have anything else to compare it with. Instant heat and temperature controls. Works great. I’ll probably be ordering some different type nibs.
